Community Stack Expands into Scotland and Appoints Eva Tisch as Community Manager and Scotland Lead

Community Stack brings its meetups and conferences to Scotland, with new communities in Edinburgh and Glasgow and a first conference on 24 November 2026.

The expansion brings Community Stack's model of practitioner-led communities to Scotland. Community Stack will run regular meetups and conferences across Edinburgh and Glasgow for cloud platform engineers, cloud operators and AWS practitioners, with more topics to follow. Events will be hosted with venue partners in both cities, and the Scottish communities join Community Stack's Cloud, Platform & Open Source ecosystem.

Community Stack runs 18 practitioner-led technology communities and 12 conferences across three ecosystems, with more than 25,000 members.

Eva Tisch, Community Manager and Scotland Lead

Eva joins Community Stack from Edinburgh's cloud community, where she has run AWS cloud communities in the city, including the AWS Student Builder Group at the University of Edinburgh. She brings first-hand experience of bringing builders and practitioners together in Edinburgh.

As Community Manager and Scotland Lead, Eva will run Community Stack's meetups and conferences in Scotland, working with local speakers, venues and partners. Community Stack will provide the events operation, speaker network and governance behind the Scottish communities.

First event: AWS Cloud and AI Summit

The expansion opens with the AWS Cloud and AI Summit on 24 November 2026, Community Stack's first conference in Scotland. The summit brings together cloud engineers, platform teams and technical leaders working on AWS to share how they build, run and scale cloud and AI workloads in production.
