Colibri Digital Becomes Global Headline Data & AI Sponsor of Community Stack

The partnership launches Databricks UK, a new practitioner community, with its first event on 21 October 2026.

The sponsorship covers Community Stack's AI & Data ecosystem, including its communities, conferences and content, through 2026 and 2027. It is the largest partner commitment in Community Stack's history.

Community Stack runs 18 practitioner-led technology communities and 12 conferences across three ecosystems, with more than 25,000 members. Colibri Digital is a UK data and AI consultancy with more than 160 engineers. It is a Databricks Silver Partner and AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, and has been part of the Nasstar Group since 2023.

Databricks UK

Databricks UK is the first community Community Stack has launched jointly with a partner. It brings together data engineers, architects, analytics engineers and technical leaders working on Databricks, and joins Community Stack's AI & Data ecosystem. Colibri Digital serves as founding partner, with Community Stack providing the events operation, speaker network, venues and governance behind the community.

First event: Databricks Innovation Hackathon

The community's first event is the Databricks Innovation Hackathon on 21 October 2026, from 16:30 to 21:00. The invitation-only evening brings together up to 30 Databricks Champions, MVPs and senior data engineers to build working functionality with Lakeflow Designer, Databricks Apps, Genie and Lakebase, mentored by Colibri Digital's principal engineers.
