Venue & Event Partnerships

Put your space at the centre of the community.

Community Stack runs practitioner-led technology communities, meetups and conferences across the UK, New York and online. We are looking for companies, engineering teams, innovation spaces and venues that want to host our communities and become part of the ecosystem around them.

You provide the space. We bring the community, programme, speakers, registrations, promotion and event operation. As an event partner, your organisation also gets a speaking slot as part of the programme, visibility across the event, and the opportunity for your team to build genuine relationships with the practitioners in the room.

Hosting is deliberately different from traditional sponsorship. Your organisation is not simply putting its logo on an event. You are opening your doors to the community, putting your people into the room and helping create somewhere practitioners want to return to.

Why Host

Bring the community into your organisation.

Most technology organisations are trying to build stronger relationships with engineers, technology leaders and the wider ecosystem around them. Hosting gives you a practical way to do that. Rather than pulling people into another corporate webinar, you become part of an existing practitioner community.

Put your organisation in the room

Bring engineers, architects, platform teams, data professionals, AI practitioners, product leaders and technology decision makers into your space. People experience your organisation directly rather than through an advert or campaign.

Give your team a voice

Every event partner receives a speaking slot as part of the event programme. The session can be delivered by someone from your engineering, technology, product, cloud, platform, data, AI or leadership teams. We work with the speaker to make sure the session is useful, relevant and appropriate for the community.

Strengthen your employer brand

Attendees see your workplace, meet your people and hear directly from someone inside your organisation. That creates far more context than simply putting a recruitment logo on an event.

Support the local technology ecosystem

Community events need spaces to exist. By hosting, your organisation directly enables practitioners to meet, learn and build relationships locally.

Meet practitioners without forcing a sales conversation

Your team can attend the event, join the networking and speak directly with people across the community. There is no need to turn the event into a recruitment fair or product pitch. The relationship works because the community remains useful first.

Become a long-term community home

The best venue partnerships do not need to be one off. Where there is a strong fit, we can establish your organisation as a regular home for one of our communities, hosting monthly, quarterly or several times throughout the year.

The Exchange

You bring the room. We bring everything else.

What Community Stack Brings

Community. The audience, drawn from our existing community network.
Event creation. We build the event across the relevant Community Stack channels and community platforms.
Registration. We manage registrations, attendee communications and waitlists.
Speakers. We source and manage the wider speaker programme.
Programme. We build the agenda and coordinate sessions around the community and topic.
Promotion. We promote the event across the relevant Community Stack communities and channels.
Event operations. Our team manages registration, speakers, attendees and the running order on the day.
Community hosts. Community Stack representatives attend and host the event.
Code of conduct. Events operate under the Community Stack Code of Conduct.
Photography and recording. Where the venue allows it, we arrange photography, filming and content capture around the event.
Follow up. We manage post event communications and continuation of the community after the event.

What Your Organisation Receives

Dedicated speaking slot. A slot within the main event programme for a technical case study, engineering lesson, architecture decision, platform, AI or data project, or leadership lesson. We want the community to hear from the practitioners doing the work, not sit through a sales presentation.
Event partner billing. Your organisation is recognised as an official host or event partner.
Logo placement. Your logo appears across the relevant event page and event communications.
Event page presence. Your organisation is listed alongside the event details, programme and speakers.
Team attendance. Your colleagues can attend and participate. We actively encourage engineering, product, technology and leadership teams to join.
Social recognition. We recognise the venue partner through relevant Community Stack event promotion and post event content.
Photography and content. Where appropriate, event photography shows the venue, your team and the community in the space.
Community introductions. Our organisers help connect relevant members of your team with practitioners, speakers and community leaders during the event.
Employer brand exposure. Attendees see your organisation as somewhere technology is actually happening.
Ongoing partnership. If the relationship works well, your venue can become a recurring home for future events.
What We Need From You

A good space and a team willing to welcome the community.

You do not need to operate a professional conference venue. Many of the best Community Stack events happen inside normal offices and engineering spaces. We normally need the following.

Who Attends

Practitioner communities bring practitioners.

Community Stack's network includes people working across the following areas, spanning individual contributors through to senior technology leaders. Every event is run by one of our 18 communities across three ecosystems.

Regular Hosting Is Especially Valuable

One event is useful. A community home is better.

We are happy to work with organisations hosting a single event. But we are particularly interested in partners that can provide space regularly.

Monthly

A regular home for a named Community Stack community.

Quarterly

Hosting several larger events throughout the year.

Multiple communities

Different Community Stack communities using the same venue.

Multiple locations

Organisations with offices in several of our target cities, supporting the network across multiple regions.

Regular venues help communities build consistency. Attendees know the location. Organisers understand the space. Your organisation becomes genuinely associated with supporting the community rather than appearing once.

How Becoming an Event Partner Works

Straightforward from venue submission to event night.

Submit your venue

Complete our Venue Input Details Form. Tell us about your organisation, capacity, facilities, accessibility, catering and event logistics.

We review the space

Our team looks at the venue and considers which Community Stack communities and event formats would be appropriate.

We match a community

We identify the communities, cities and events where the venue makes sense.

Agree a date

We work with your team to identify a suitable event date.

Confirm your speaker

As the event partner, you receive a speaking slot. We work with you on the speaker and topic so it fits naturally within the wider programme.

We build the event

We create the event, source the other speakers, open registrations and promote it to the community.

Final logistics

We confirm attendee numbers, catering, security, building access, branding and event timings.

Open the doors

Your team welcomes the community. Community Stack runs the event.

Continue the relationship

If the event works well, we look at future dates and opportunities to make your organisation a regular community home.

Put your organisation at the centre of the community.

The best community spaces are not always conference centres. They are engineering offices, technology companies, startup hubs, financial institutions and innovation spaces, workplaces where interesting things are already being built. If you have a space in Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, London, Edinburgh or New York, we would like to hear from you. Provide the venue. We will bring the community.
